Data are presented on radioactivity in samples of air, precipitation, surface water, drinking water, mild, and other foods, and concentrations of Sr/sup 90/ in wheat and milling products collected during 1962. Results are presented from whole-body assays for Cs/sup 137/ in residents of West Germany performed during 1962. External environmental levels of radioactivity were measured at various stations throughout the country during July 1962 and at Hanford Atomic Products Operation, Lawrence Radiation Laboratory, Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, and the Nevada Test Site. Results are tabulated. Information is summarized on announced nuclear detonations during September 1962.
