The traveler presented an invited talk, entitled ''Medium-Energy Heavy-Ion Excitation and Photon Decay of Giant Resonances,'' at the Third International Conference on Nucleus Nucleus Collisions held in Saint-Malo, France, June 6--11, 1988. This excellent conference was attended by over 400 nuclear physicists and provided a varied program in heavy-ion research.
