Carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen abundances in G and K giants
Journal Article
·
· Astrophys. J.; (United States)
C, N, and O abundances are presented for 32 G ad K giants and subgiants. The primary abundance indicators are C/sub 2/ lines at 5086 and 5135 A, the (O I) lines at 6300 and 6363 A, and CN red system lines. The equivalent widths are obtained from high-resolution low-noise spectra and analyzed with line-blanketed model atmospheres.
