Maloney-Crawford's system for dehydrating a water-rich liquid desiccant such as glycol uses a reboiler and a still column to remove most of the absorbed water. Exposing the hot, partially dried desiccant to (1) a flow of dry, inert flue gas and (2) a partial vacuum removes more of the water, substantially regenerating the desiccant.
