EOSMOD: a subroutine package for calculating equations of state and opacities

The EOSMOD package includes a set of FORTRAN subroutines written to make the SESAME equation-of-state and opacity tables readily available. These routines have been made as assessible as possible for casual users with routine problems and at the same time, allow sufficient flexibility for sophisticated users with complicated situations. This has caused only a slight loss in efficiency (approx. 5%) compared to using the SESAME routines directly.
