/sup 89/Sr content of agricultural crops as an effect of timing of aerial contamination

Experimental data obtained in various soil and climatic zones of the country indicate that an approximate estimate of radioactive strontium content of agricultural crops, contaminated from an aerial source, can be based on the period of time elapsed between contamination of the crop and harvest. Regression equations are presented, relating /sup 89/Sr concentration in corn, wheat, and potato harvests to the time of contamination for six regions.
