By extending the string world-sheet to a supersheet, the functional integration formalism of Mandelstam for the Neveu-Schwarz string is simplified considerably. After proving this new supersheet formalism to be equivalent to the old formalism of Mandelstam, the tree-level scattering amplitudes for excited Neveu-Schwarz strings are calculated in the light-cone gauge. The volume element is evaluated using methods that will be useful in any future multiloop amplitude calculations.
