Improved estimates of sulfate dry deposition in eastern North America

Parameterization of the dry deposition of submicron sulfate particles has been improved as the result of numerous field experiments using the micrometeorological technique of eddy correlation. Seasonal sulfate dry deposition computed numerically with a Lagrangian regional-scale model now seem to be slightly smaller than our previous estimates.
