Solitary electromagnetic-spin waves in anisotropic ferromagnets

Solitary electromagnetic-spin waves in easy-axis and easy-plane ferromagnets are investigated on the basis of the complete system of Maxwell and Landau-Lifshits equations. The domain of existence of one- and two-parameter solitary-wave solutions of the basic system is determined, and their fundamental characteristics are investigated. The relationship between electromagnetic and magnetostatic magnetization solitons is discussed, along with wave-interaction processes and the influence of magnetization relaxation on the single-soliton dynamics.
