R and D Status Report : Advanced Power Systems Division

This report is concerned with EPRI's interests in Texaco gasification and Exxon Donor Solvent Liquefaction. Tests in support of the Coal Water Project which have been carried out at Texaco's Montebello Laboratory and at the Ruhrkohle-Ruhrchemie plant at Oberhausen are described. Information obtained at the Baytown EDS plant is summarized.
