Cesium--selenium thermionic converter

The cesium--selenium system can use two sources of vapor for the working medium in the thermionic converter: a low-temperature source (Cs/sub 2/Se+Cs) or a high-temperature source (Cs/sub 2/Se). The use of the high-temperature source of cesium and selenium vapor increases the specific electrical output power by 25%--30%.
