Radon is a radioactive, colorless, odorless, tasteless gas that occurs naturally as a breakdown product of radium. It is known to cause between 5,000 and 20,000 lung cancer deaths every year in America. This article focuses on the sources of entry for radon gas in houses and what can be done to eliminate the flow of radon gas through ventilation systems.
