Proportional sampling for radionuclides in river system below Oak Ridge

The methods used and early results obtained in sampling the Clinch and Tennessee rivers at several locations between Oak Ridge and a point (Chattanooga) some 120 river miles downstream are reported. The techniques used permitted not only determinations of concentrations of specific radionuclides, but also the proportions of the quantities released that, in the flowing water, reach various downstream locations.
