Hard-photon emission in [sup 129]Xe+[sup 197]Au reaction at 44 MeV/nucleon

Semi-exclusive measurements of high energy photons ([ital E][sub [gamma]][ge]30 MeV) cross sections from the [sup 129]Xe+[sup 197]Au reaction at 44 MeV/nucleon are analyzed in the framework of the Boltzmann-Nordheim-Vlasov equation with an appropriate semiclassical [gamma]-production probability for the [ital np][r arrow][ital n][prime][ital p][prime][gamma] elementary process. A detailed analysis on the impact parameter dependence of the [gamma]-ray multiplicity and slope of the energy spectrum is also reported.
