Earthquake activity in the Western Ohio-Indiana region has been monitored with a precision seismograph network consisting of nine stations located in west-central Ohio and four stations located in Indiana. Two local earthquakes have been recorded during this report period with magnitudes of 1.0 m{sub L} and 2.2 m{sub L}. Two near- regional events were recorded by the network (Fostoria, Ohio and Clinton, Illinois events) with magnitudes of 2.3 m{sub L} and 3.4 m{sub b}L{sub g}. Three other regional events occurred with magnitudes ranging from 2.9 m{sub b} to 4.6 m{sub b}.
