In this thesis the author proposes a new method to simulate on the computer anticommuting Grassman variables. After discussing the general technique employed in a Monte Carlo simulation, the author points out the problems that one has to face whenever the system under study contains fermionic degrees of freedom. He shows how this system can be reformulated in terms of bosonic variables (pseudofermions), and constructs a local stochastic process which simulates the problem in the pseudofermionic formulation. Finally, the author applies the method to a toy model of a colored fermion. The model is studied in detail in the infinite coupling limit using the hopping expansion. The analytical results are compared with the numerical ones and the agreement is found to be excellent.
