Radiologic, medical laboratory and nuclear medicine career ladders AFSCS 90330, 90350, 90370, 90390, 90430, 90450, 90470, 90492, 90930, 90970, and 90999. Occupational survey report
This is a report of an occupational survey of personnel in the Radiologic, Medical Laboratory, and Nuclear Medicine career ladders completed by the Occupational Survey Branch, USAF Occupational Measurement Center, during December 1978. This report is one of three prepared for the Classification Branch of the Air Force Manpower and Personnel Center (AFMPC/MPCRPQ) upon their request for occupational data on selected AFSCs within the Medical career field 'to determine if the current classification structure is adequate.' In this study, AFS 909X0, Nuclear Medicine Technician was surveyed in conjunction with AFSCs 903X0 and 904X0 since personnel entering the Nuclear Medicine career ladder must first possess at least a 5-skill level in either the Radiologic or Medical Laboratory career ladders. This implies similar skill knowledge requirements and makes these three specialties logical candidates for possible consolidation.
