Study of coal gasification in an experimental fluidized-bed reactor

A bench-scale fluidized-bed reactor was used for coal gasification. A mathematical model has been developed to study the heterogeneous reactions taking place in the reactor and the transient behavior of the system. Both dynamic behavior and steady-state performance have been simulated and compared with the experimental results.
