Deep search keeps Nebraska area hot

Continuous deep exploration in the Nebraska portion of the Denver basin keeps adding success upon success. An unconfirmed oil discovery at a Paleozoic wildcat in Kimball County would extend the play 25-30 miles west of the focus of action. Plans for a 6,660 ft Pennsylvanian test in southeastern Sioux County would add a northwestern anchor to the Paleozoic swath cutting through Cretaceous territory. And, still another Pennsylvanian oil find in southwestern Cheyenne County widens the pre-Cretaceous producing area in this part of the Denver basin.
