Scada system improves Northwest Pipeline operations

The authors describe the supervisory control and data acquisition (Scada) system installed by Northwest Pipeline Corporation (NWP). The system improved the efficiency of NWP's operations. The company is saving fuel, improving gas-compressor engine performance, and monitoring compressor health better.
