The possible impact of areawide residential location policy on future residential electricity usage in the Tri-State Metropolitan Region centering on New York City is investigated. Factors affecting electricity consumption within various manufacturing industries are studied. Equations are developed which relate electricity consumption as a function of value added to wage rates and other inputs to the manufacturing process.
