User's guide to the Complex-Terrain Dispersion Model Plus Algorithms for Unstable Situations (CTDMPLUS): Volume 1. Model description and user instructions

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5770965
The Complex Terrain Dispersion Model Plus Algorithms for Unstable Situations (CTDMPLUS) is a refined air-quality model for use in all stability conditions for complex-terrain applications. It contains the technology of the original Complex Terrain Dispersion Model (CTDM) for stable and neutral conditions, but also models daytime, unstable conditions. The model makes use of considerable detail in the terrain and meteorological data (as compared to current EPA regulatory models) and requires the parameterization of individual terrain features, thus considering the three-dimensional nature of the interaction of the plume and terrain. The user's manual describes, in detail, the basis of the model and instructions for its use.
