Cylindrical domain structure of type I superconductors in a magnetic field

The cylindrical domain structure of type I superconductor films in a magnetic field is studied. It is shown that a lattice of superconducting cylindrical domains is stable in such superconductors. The critical fields for the collapse and transformation of cylindrical domains into stripe domains are also calculated.
