A metal/air depolarized cell is described which consists of: a metal anode, a hydrophobic catalytic cathode and a separator therebetween and a fluid alkaline electrolyte characterized in that the separator is adheringly laminated to the cathode by means of a material capable of absorbing the electrolyte which is integrated with the surface of the cathode adjacent the separator.
