Absorption of collisional H-He pairs in the infrared

The collisional complex H-He is treated as a molecule in self-consistent field. Collision-induced translatinal absorption spectra are computed from the {ital ab} {ital initio} dipole and potential functions at temperature of interest for cool stars. (AIP)
