Estimate of the dipole moment of the neutron in Weinberg's model of CP violation

It is shown that the electric dipole moment of the neutron, D/sub n/, in the model under consideration is due mainly to the contribution of strange quarks. The estimate D/sub n/approx.7 x 10/sup -25/ e x cm which is obtained is very close to the existing experimental limit.
