The PM-10 (particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 10 micrometers) guideline document is a compilation of currently available policy and guidance for PM-10 programs. It is intended only to provide a guide to PM-10 policy and guidance in effect at the time of the document's preparation and does not present any new policy or guidance. Each chapter summarizes relevant policy and guidance and provides detailed references to guide the user to more complete sources found in the appendix and elsewhere. The guidelines covers topics such as air quality status, air quality monitoring and modeling, and control strategies.
