Double ionization of H/sub 2/ by fast He/sup +/ projectiles

The cross sections for the double ionization of H/sub 2/ by 0.025--0.875-MeV/amu He/sup +/ are reported for the H/sub 2/ internuclear axis oriented at 90/sup 0/ and 30/sup 0/ relative to the ion-beam direction. At low projectile velocities, there is an apparent angular dependence for the cross section, with the 90/sup 0/ results being larger.
