A new superconducting phase in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cd-Cu-O system

A new superconducting phase Bi/sub 4/Sr/sub 3/Ca/sub 2.3/Cd/sub 0.7/Cu/sub 6/O/sub y/ with zero-resistance T/sub c/=75{Kappa} has been found. It is possessed of orthorhombic cell with the cell parameters a=5.357 A, b=5.450 A, and c=24.339 A. The zero-resistance T/sub c/ decreases monotonically with increasing chi for 0.7
