Toxicological profile for trichloroethylene. Final report

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5726731
The Statement was prepared to give the information about trichloroethylene and to emphasize the human health effects that may result from exposure to it. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has identified 1,300 sites on its National Priorities List (NPL). Trichloroethylene has been found in at least 791 of these sites. As EPA evaluates more sites, the number of sites at which trichloroethylene is found may change. The information is important to know because trichloroethylene may cause harmful health effects, and because these sites are potential or actual sources of human exposure to trichloroethylene.
