Boron-neutron capture therapy

Boron-neutron capture therapy (BNCT) has had significant success in the treatment of gliobastoma and has potential for application to other tumors as well. Neutron capture therapy (NCT) also offers a highly selective therapy for certain cancers. These two companion texts, appearing on the 50th anniversary of the medical application of neutrons, bring together expert contributions on both BNCT and NCT and considers the most recent research on these important therapies, including such techniques as the use of monoclonal antibodies for boron-10 delivery.
