Great Western cogeneration saving $350,000 per year

The cogeneration installation is designed around three Garrett 831 gas turbine gensets, ISO rated at 505 KW each for continuous duty operation, and two Hitachi double effect waste heat absorption chillers. The plant provides Great Western's computer center with all of its electric power and will pay for itself within 4 to 5 years.
