On the basis of observations with the 2.6-m telescope at the Byurakan Observatory and the 6 m telescope at the Special Astrophysical Observatory, a morphological study has been made of four UV galaxies with jets, namely, Markaryan 423, 739, 773, and 984. Their parameters have been estimated. For one of them, Markaryan 984, a spectral study has been made of the nucleus and two condensations located in the jet on the basis of the spectrum obtained with the 6-m telescope. It has been found that the nucleus of the galaxy is a type Sy 2 object with some signs of liners. It has been specially noted that the first condensation also has broad emission lines and a flat Balmer decrement. Some characteristic properties of galaxies with jets are noted. The majority of galaxies with jets show Seyfert properties. They enter into clusters of galaxies and are, in many cases, their central objects, or they are components of close pairs of galaxies. The presence of strong radio emission is not essential for the existence of a jet, especially in the case of spiral galaxies.
