Documentation of forecasting models for Chelan County PUD No. 1

This is a report on the estimation of the forecasting equations for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors of the Chelan County PUD No. 1 (District). This report also explores the use of univariate time series techniques (Box-Jenkins) for the forecasting of hourly system peak loads. The report presents the methodology to estimate new forecasting equations, but develops no actual forecasts. Heating and cooling degree days have been included to capture the seasonality inherent in electrical consumption.
