On April 19-20, 1990, the U.S. EPA held a workshop to discuss current risk assessment methodologies as part of the biannual meeting of the Federal-State Toxicology and Regulatory Alliance Committee. The workshop fostered a discussion among federal and state representatives regarding the risk assessment process and the problems encountered in carrying out that process. The report summarizes the workshop's presentations and discussions; the meeting's attendees, agenda and handouts are included.
