China's petroleum organization and manpower including dissemination of technology in China

This work attempts to answer some current questions concerning the petroleum industry that is developing in the People's Republic of China. The questions concern how the multitude of specialists now employed in that industry are organized, how many individuals are involved at each level of technology and in each phase of the industry, how technology is disseminated in China, and who are the major publishers of technical information in China. In addition, several studies describing individual Chinese oil and gas fields are included. The prospects for offshore oil development in China also are reviewed. 15 references.
