This document announces the conclusions of the EPA evaluation of the 'Gas Meiser I' device under provisions of section 511 of the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act. On December 17, 1980, the EPA received a request from Gas Meiser I. This device is claimed to '. . .increase fuel economy by pre-heating the fuel.' The device consists principally of a gasoline hose wrapped around the vehicles's upper radiator hose.
