France: World Oil Report 1991

This paper reports that exploration and production licenses may be awarded at any time in France, and last year eight exploration licenses were awarded, a drop of 46% compared to 1989. In addition, five exploitation licenses were granted to Elf, all in the Paris basin. So far this year, one exploitation license over Cassourat field, a concession over Lacq-Nord in Aquitaine and four exploration permits have been signed.
