Nine months ago, Energy Secretary Hazel O`Leary promised local officials running the agency`s huge Hanford, Washington, weapon complex more control in directing its projected $57-billion waste cleanup. Earlier this month, she returned to the site for a follow-on {open_quotes}summit,{close_quotes} this time ordering teamwork with contractors, regulators and local activities.
