In this work they studied the solubility of Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe in a mixture of water and methanol of various degrees of isotope substitution (CH/sub 3/OH-H/sub 2/O, CD/sub 3/OH-H/sub 2/O, CH/sub 3/OD-D/sub 2/O, CD/sub 3/OD-D/sub 2/). The experimental data are presented in the form of solvomolar absorption coefficients A/sub sm, on the basis of which the isotope effect deltaA/sub sm/ (the difference of the solubility of the noble gas in the given deutero-substituted solvent and in a solvent with a different isotope substitution of the same composition) were calculated.
