Some possible grand unified preon models with light quarks and leptons

In this paper three grand unified preon models with light quarks and leptons are presented. All these models have natural family structure at the composite level. One of them can give a very low metacolor scale, {Lambda}{sub MC} {approximately} 3 {times} 10{sup 4} GeV. It is argued that the best choice for a metacolor group is SU(4) and that for a unification group it is SU(9).
