Acid Precipitation: a current awareness bulletin

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5674953
Major emphasis is on man-made sources of suspected precursor pollutant emissions, e.g., sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides, and on the possible effectiveness of control measures for reducing these emissions. The research is intended primarily to identify and resolve uncertainties with data and models used for decisionmaking on policies and control strategies. The summaries in this bulletin and all citations to information on acid precipitation back to June 1976 are available on the Energy Data Base (EDB); on-line searching of and retrieval from EDB may be accomplished using either the DOE/RECON system or the commercial on-line retrieval systems. Retrospective searches can be made on any aspect of acid precipitation, or customized profiles can be developed to provide current information for each user's needs.
