It is shown that the upper limit on the tau-neutrino mass can be decreased significantly by analyzing the energy spectra of secondary leptons (electrons and muons) from cascade decays of D/sup + -/ and F/sup + -/ mesons produced in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation via the channels D/sup + -/(F/sup + -/) ..-->..tau/sup + -/ +..nu../sub tau/(nu-bar/sub tau/) and tau/sup + -/..-->..1/sup + -/+..nu../sub 1/(nu-bar/sub 1/)+nu-bar/sub tau/(..mu../sub tau/). The cascade decay of the D meson is the most suitable for this purpose.
