Fusion excitation function of /sup 58/Ni+/sup 62/Ni at 215--275 MeV

Experimental evaporation residue excitation functions are presented for /sup 58/Ni projectiles on /sup 62/Ni targets. These data are analyzed for fusion radii and for the nucleus-nucleus potential at the fusion barrier. The results are compared with predictions of three potential models.
