The Halverson oil field is located in T49N, R69W, Campbell County, Wyoming. A tabulation of geologic and production data is presented, including reservoir characteristics. Annual and cumulative production figures are given for the years 1962-1967. Oil is produced from a stratigraphic trap in the Minnelusa sandstone (Pennsylvanian) at a depth of 8,400 ft. The producing sand has an average thickness of 30 ft, and porosity of 13%. Discovered in 1962, the field produced 2,765,667 bbl of 24$ gravity oil to Jan. 1, 1968. During this time, reservoir pressure dropped from 3,400 lb to 500 to 600 lb. The field is under gas solution drive. Isopach maps, a structure map, and a correlated stratigraphic cross section are included.
