Super Good Cents Technical Reference Manual : A Practical Guide and Technical Reference for Northwest Utility and Construction Personnel Involved in the Super Good Cents Home Program.
Super Good Cents Homes are homes built to the Model Conservation Standards adopted by the Regional Power Planning Council. This level of conservation in new electrically heated homes is cost effective for the homebuyer and is beneficial for the region. Participating utilities acknowledge homes that meet Super Good Cents standards and assist builders to sell them. This manual is written to be useful, clear, and concise. The goal is to present information in a manner that will give users what they need to participate in and implement the program. The first three chapters are primarily background information. More detailed discussion occurs in later chapters. As an aid in locating information, the beginning of each chapter has an index of topics covered. The actual program specifications are contained in Appendix B.
