Radiation and environmental protection experience at the Fast Flux Test Facility (FFTF)

Conference ·
OSTI ID:5655486
Radiological and environmental protection experience at the Fast Flux Test Facility (FFTF) has been excellent. Plant personnel radiation exposures have been very low, contamination has been readily controlled and releases of radioactivity to the environment have been essentially nonexistent. This report discusses these three aspects of fast reactor safety at the FFTF and covers the first five operating cycles. This represents a period of three years from 1982 through 1984. 4 refs., 2 figs., 3 tabs.
