Sulfur by the split flow method (in Spanish)

Two gas processing flow charts show a split flow Claus plant and a direct oxidation process plant. Both of these are variations of the Claus process for recovering sulfur from sour gas streams. The split flow process is generally used in plants which process less than 50 tons per day of sulfur. The direct oxidation process is applied to streams which cannot be economically sweetened by any other method.
