Seismic hazard methodology for the central and eastern United States. Volume 10. Tectonic interpretations by Rondout Associates, Incorporated. Final report

The EPRI seismic hazards research program is the combined effort of seismologists, geologists, geophysicists, and statisticians to provide state-of-the-art probabilistic earthquake hazard assessment for the east and central United States. Six teams, called Tectonic Evaluation Teams (TECs), each of which combined the expertise of a seismologist, a geologist, and a geophysicist, provided seismology and tectonic input for probabilistic hazard analyses. The work described in the following report is the result of one Tectonic Evaluation Team. We followed the same procedures as did five other tectonic evaluation teams to assess the current state of stress, the earthquake potential of tectonic features, the seismologic potential of seismic source zones, and the seismicity parameters of seismic source zones.
