This paper describes dynamic measurements of the subcritical neutron multiplication factor using the 252Cf-source-driven neutron noise analysis method for a tank containing uranyl nitrate solution. These experiments are part of a program of collaboration between the US Dept. of Energy and the Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation of Japan to study criticality safety related to the development of fast breeder technology.
